Mount Toubkal – Trip Summary Journey into Morocco’s spectacular High Atlas Mountains and climb Mount Toubkal (4,167m), the highest mountain in North Africa. Beginning from Marrakech, our adventure takes us into the traditional Berber villages and dramatic valleys of the High Atlas before trekking higher into the mountains towards Toubkal. Along the way, we experience remote mountain communities, rugged trails and increasingly impressive views as we gain altitude. Our summit day begins early as we make the ascent of Mount Toubkal, reaching 4,167 metres and enjoying incredible views across the High Atlas and, in clear conditions, towards the Sahara. This is a fantastic introduction to high-altitude trekking, combining a genuine mountain challenge with the culture, landscapes and hospitality of Morocco.
